| Match Report |
We controlled much of the possession. All four goals in the first half were from set pieces from wombles. They went 2-0 up thanks to two identical Danny Baker headers from free-kicks. We pulled one back with a stonewall penalty and then wombles regained the two goal margin with a stonewall penalty of their own. There was indeed a bit of handbags just before the half-time break but there was no sign of any trouble in the second half - probably due to the half time being agreed to be brought forward a few minutes. We could have scored a few times in the second half but they managed to block shots from Jordan, Slouch, Rio Riz Weedon and Tweena and after one pinball incident in their box, they broke clear and scored a fourth after a fumble from Rob. Towards the end of the game one of their subs should have scored 2 and Danny should have completed his hat-trick, if it wasn't for woeful finishing, as we were pressing them well in side their half.
