ASB made the trip to Ipswich in good spirit after last weeks win over
oxford the ASB starting line up was as follows:

ASB started the match strongly playing some very good attacking
football and it was not long until ASB scored the first goal and long
throw from eddy found peewee on the 6 yard line who headed home to
put us 1.0 up.

ASB then continued to press going forward with chances falling to
Sharkey, JJ and Nick who all went very close to scoring. Ipswich then
came to life and caught ASB on the counter attack and a mix up
between Tina and Frange allowed Ipswich to level and make it 1.1.

ASB then went back in front with a good shot from JJ was spilled by
the keeper and Sharkey with a very cheeky back heel put ASB 2.1 up.
The best was yet to come for ASB however and nice little inside pass
from Nick found Brian who hit a thunderbolt from all of 25 yards the
ball flew past the Ipswich keeper and straight into the top left hand
corner a great goal scored just before half time to make it 3.1 to
ASB going in at half time.

The 2nd half then kicked off and some great play from Eddie, Sharkey,
Slouch and Nick straight from kick off nearly made it 4 as Sharkey
just dragged his shot wide. It was not long till the 4th goal came
and pass from Nick found Eddie unmarked on the edge of the area
produced a great lob goal from Eddie 4.1 to ASB.

The 5th was only seconds after a great run from JJ who crossed low
into the box and the ball was turned in from an Ipswich defender 5.1.
ASB were not finished there a quick throw from JJ found Eddie who
played the ball inside to Peewee who shot from the edge of the area
the keeper spilled and there was Brian for his 2nd of the game 6.1.

Ipswich did not really have many attacks the one attack they had a
great tackle from Orv who took out Tina in the process cancelled out
any threat. Nick then wrapped things up again another good run from
JJ slotted in Nick who finished calmly 7.1. ASB finished the season
on a high note a great win and a fabulous team effort.
